Elena Kidd
Elena Kidd serves as the SOLACE director of impact and internships as well as a general board member.
Elena is a Program Director with the Office of Public Health Practice at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Public Health where she serves as an internship coordinator and helps manage several grant-funded projects. She has over seven years of experience coordinating training and technical assistance that focuses on workforce development for public health professionals. Elena received her Master of Public Health from UAB and Bachelor of Science in Economics and International Affairs from Georgia Tech. Elena is passionate about providing education to moms-to-be around the severe obstetric lacerations. She looks forward to helping SOLACE work towards its mission and turn it into a reality.
Elena lives in Birmingham, Alabama with her husband, son, and dog. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as running.
