Dani Mosley
Dani Mosley has lived in the Birmingham area since 2013 and is a wife and a mother to two beautiful daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family including their two dogs, crafting, and volunteering in various capacities. She has worked for a nonprofit organization focused on reproductive health for over eight years.
Dani's personal connection to the mission of SOLACE came in 2019 during the birth of her second daughter. After a long, difficult labor, her daughter was born with the assistance of forceps in an emergency situation. Her daughter was born not breathing but, thankfully, she quickly made a full recovery and was a perfectly healthy baby girl. However, Dani sustained a 4 th degree tear. This obstetric injury began the hardest period of Dani's life. She is now four years post-tear and still dealing with both the physical and mental effects of the injury.
Dani is excited and passionate about women's health and about bringing all she has learned via her professional experiences as well as her personal experiences to the SOLACE Foundation. Dani is looking forward to furthering the mission of the SOLACE Foundation to change and improve women's experiences after severe obstetric lacerations. She wants no woman to experience not only the physical pain of a severe tear but also the mental and emotional darkness that can follow the injury. She is proud to work with an organization like the SOLACE Foundation to change these experiences for other women.
